Mildred Joan Goeler, 89, passed away Wednesday, February 15th, 2017 in Saint Louis, MO.

Mildred was the daughter of the late Arthur and Carol Neitzel and the loving wife of Herbert A. Goeler who passed away Oct. 23rd, 2006 in Melbourne, FL.

Mildred was born in New York City on June 21st, 1928 to Arthur and Carol Neitzel. She is a graduate of William Patterson College and is survived by two sons, Timothy and Andrew and by 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, living in both CA and MO. She was preceded in death by two sons, Peter and Michael and her sister Teresa.

Mildred, known to her friends as “Milly”, loved raising her family in Pompton Plains, NJ and enjoyed her retirement years with her husband in Boynton Beach Fl. She was an avid golfer, liked painting, loved the sunshine and enjoyed being outdoors working in the yard. Her special gift for cooking was evident at each family gathering. Truly a special mother, wife and friend.

She will be buried at the family plot, Our Lady of the Magnificent cemetery, Kinnelon, NJ.
