The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Rose Jaschek can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Rose in the garden

I knew Rose as a church member when she attended Immanuel U.C.C. church in Ferguson. I knew Rose as a Jennings resident that cared alot for "her neighbors", and many friends in the community. Walt and Rose were foundling members in the creation of our Jennings Community Garden, and they were dedicated gardeners. One year they won a certificate from Gateway Greening for growing the BEST tomato-judged for size, taste, and color! Rose seemed to like being at the garden, weeding the flower beds and tending to their crops. How appropriate that she was given the name "Rose"!  In addition, to "working in the dirt, it was a place to visit with others in the community. Rose never failed to ask me,"How's you Mom and Dad?" She genuinely cared about people. What a blessing she was to so many people!
