Obituary for Janice Grossman (Rudulph)

Janice Rudulph Grossman, 89, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 26, 2017. She lived her entire life in Webster Groves. After raising her young daughters, Janice was a beloved teacher at Rossman School, willing to dance on her desk to inspire students. Upon retirement, she traveled extensively throughout the world with her husband, and she volunteered as a docent educator at the St. Louis Zoo for 15 years. She was an active member of the Webster Groves Presbyterian Church, ringing handbells, singing in the choir, and volunteering. She was an avid player of bridge, board games and crossword puzzles, activities she continued to the end.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Valle, and leaves daughters Gail Updegraff (Richard), Lynn Grossman (Carter Hendricks), and Valerie Stout (Kevin Coons). Dear grandmother
of Chris Rippe, Justin Scott, and Anna Hendricks, great grandmother to 4.

A memorial service will be held at Webster Groves Presbyterian Church on August 5 at 10:00am.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the St. Louis Zoo. Correspondence with the family can be sent to Bopp Chapel.
