Obituary for Sharon Vegely (Axton)

Vegely, Sharon Elizabeth born February 15, 1944, last of five immediate family members to pass on January 20, 2018.

Born Sharon Axton in Kansas City and moved to St. Louis at an early age. As a teen loved to dance and was occasionally on American Bandstand, met her husband Norm and was married in 1970 into a wonderful life. Loved to travel, especially to oceanic areas such as Mexico, all US coasts and the Bahamas. Had a wonderful son Ryan in 1974 to whom she was completely devoted and was an extremely proud mother. Made friends easily, was with St. Louis Eye Clinic in Kirkwood for many years. Enjoyed her friends, movies and an occasional slot machine and of course Princess, Cassie, and Kati—German Shepherds. She will be missed. Possible services later.

Memorial contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity.
